You’re tired. You need to stop whatever you’re doing right now. Overworking yourself won’t help you achieve your goals. In fact, nothing will work out by forcing it.

Nothing forced works, and neither will you. You might not even realize you need this reminder, but here it is: take a break. Whether it’s for two hours, four hours, or a week, give yourself the time to think positively. Things will work out better when you return refreshed.

If you’re waiting for a call or a message, don’t sit there impatiently thinking about it over and over. Instead, convince yourself that it will come, no matter when. Believe that you’ll receive it, and you will.

Don’t force yourself to solve a problem or find a solution. Take a break. You need time to recover. If a problem exists, a solution exists, but you won’t find it until you’ve given yourself time to rest.

Tim Ferriss offers a powerful prompt: “What would this look like if it were easy?” This simple question reminds us that simplicity and ease can often be found even in challenging situations. Avoid unnecessary perfectionism and consider easier alternatives. Whenever you feel stuck or overwhelmed, ask yourself this transformative question.
